UPSide Visa is a reloadable, prepaid Visa card that is designed for students in the 13-25 age group because of its flexibility. Parents can load money on their card through their own bank account, through credit cards or students can have their paychecks added to the card. It allows the same spending power as Visa, where the card can be used virtually everywhere.

There's never a chance to go into debt, however, because the student can only spend the amount of money that is loaded onto the card. There is online account management and 3 separate options to choose for the way the card is actually handled. There is also protection on the card in case the card is ever lost - making it a safer alternative to carrying cash.
