The Discover Open Road Card is a low interest credit card for members having excellent credit. Card members are entitled to an intro period. Regular purchases earn cash back bonuses useful for cash, and rewards from participating merchants and retailers. Gas and auto maintenance costs earn 5% cash back under certain conditions.

Card members are not required to pay an annual fee.

Internet related services including online account access provide unrestricted access to the card account with which members can keep abreast with past expenditure for easier budgeting or tax purposes. Online transactions are made secure with special account numbers being used and complete fraud protection charging no liability to victims of unauthorized card use.
